Best dog bed ever, especially for older dog!, October 19, 2011 By  Swan – See all my reviews This review is from: Coleman Round Air Bed w/Bolster44 x38 Red P (Misc.) My dog is around 14 years old and has arthritis. We have a hard floor (no carpet) so he looks for comfy places like throw rugs, etc. to lay down. This is by far the best bed we have found for him. And I have bought/tried a lot of different beds. We got the medium size one even though he’s less than 15 lbs, so he can really stretch out. We also got a Coleman doggie sleeping bag to throw on top, although the bed comes with it own washable cover. My dog can’t seem to get comfortable and settle down until he lays down in this bed. We’ve had the bed for almost a year, and I’m planning on buying a second one so he can be comfy elsewhere in more than one room in the house. The other reviewer complained about needing a Coleman pump, but we used a non-Coleman air pump which we already had for another inflatable bed. I’m sure you could inflate it a variety of ways. And I found the cover to fit perfectly fine; it’s also great that the cover is removable/washable. I don’t know what other dog air beds are like, but this one far exceeded our expectations. Haven’t had the chance to use them outdoors in the heat, but with as many vented windows as it has, I think our dogs will be happy. Folds up very thin. Couldn’t be happier with this product!!
