My dog is around 14 years old and has arthritis. We have a hard floor (no carpet) so he looks for comfy places like throw rugs, etc. to lay down. This is by far the best bed we have found for him. And I have bought/tried a lot of different beds. We got the medium size one even though he’s less than 15 lbs, so he can really stretch out. We also got a Coleman doggie sleeping bag to throw on top, although the bed comes with it own washable cover. My dog can’t seem to get comfortable and settle down until he lays down in this bed. We’ve had the bed for almost a year, and I’m planning on buying a second one so he can be comfy elsewhere in more than one room in the house. The other reviewer complained about needing a Coleman pump, but we used a non-Coleman air pump which we already had for another inflatable bed. I’m sure you could inflate it a variety of ways. And I found the cover to fit perfectly fine; it’s also great that the cover is removable/washable. I don’t know what other dog air beds are like, but this one far exceeded our expectations. The nest easily accomodated our 10 puppies for the critcal first weeks. They spent all their sleeping time huddled on it and it meant we didn’t have to fiddle with heat lamps or heat that part of the house to 90 degrees. Would have been 5 stars if more reasonably priced The installation instructions were easy to follow, and the thermostat worked just as advertised.

Took our boxer mix pups camping for the first time and wanted them to be comfy, this bed roll worked great and they were more than happy to plop down on it while in camp. The bowls cap each end when it’s rolled and those worked great as well, high stiff sides kept the food and water from spilling. They may grow out of it but it will still be a good mat to bring around when we’re out and about. Wish there were larger sizes on Amazon! |

The crate is of good quality, black coated metal and is easy to put together. Be careful not to get your fingers sqeezed though. One very important thing: the paws of my dog (Cavalier King Charles, 6 months) were often cought in the space between the bars when entering or exiting. I had to cover that space with duc tape. We looked online for “soft” crates for a few weeks, decided these were by far the best because of the side zip window. We couldn’t be happier with them! They are *extremely* easy to set up, have everything you need included (soft mat, shoulder straps, pouches, even a “tie-down” for the dog while inside). They are large, but not too huge they can’t be used. Very roomy for the dogs. My dogs LOVE it, they hang out in there even when not told. Haven’t had the chance to use them outdoors in the heat, but with as many vented windows as it has, I think our dogs will be happy. Folds up very thin. Couldn’t be happier with this product!!

The crate works great. Easy to set up and take down. Plenty of view and openings for dog. Top sides and end open. Handles to move it (without dog inside). Nice pad and bottom floor. As other reviews have stated this is not a crate to leave a dog in if your dog chews. Works great for us to leave our dog in at night. All in all very satisfied. Excellent product great price!,

I bought 4 of these and they are excellent! I showed them to some of my older clients who have had trouble with portable crates for their dogs because of arthritis and they were able to set them up extremely easily. They are also very lightweight which is a good thing for me. If you are going to get one make sure your dog is not a crate destroyer as they are not built for that. My dogs love this product and so do I. This is without a doubt the best choice on the market for elderly dog owners on the go that I have seen. |
